Aspen Institute Trust in Practice Award
In 2026, our partnership with Homeboy Industries was recognized with the Aspen Institute Trust in Practice Award — honoring the collaborative model bringing together Homeboy Industries, Nest Global, and UCLA for intergenerational healing work in Los Angeles.
2025
Ockenden International Prize
In 2025, Nest Global was named one of five global winners of the Ockenden International Prize — selected from 194 entries across 45 countries and territories. Established in 1951 and now in its 14th year, the prize recognizes projects advancing the self-reliance of refugees and displaced people. Nest Global was honored for its program in Tijuana, Mexico: Empowering Asylum-Seeking Families through Early Childhood Education and Holistic Support.

Co-CEO Kristina Brittenham was featured as a change-maker in A&E’s Voices Magnified series, which spotlights leaders creating impact around the world. The segment aired nationally on A&E’s television channel and streaming platform.
